His Excellency Yaroslav Mar, the President for Life has signed a Decree dismissing Muhammad Salman Mushtaq (Salman Mirza) as the Ambassador of Lostisland to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan for gross negligence and placing a ban on granting citizenship to Pakistani residents.
Co-owner of Salman Textile Mills, the now ex-ambassador Mushtaq has been appointed to his office last November, together with the Ambassador to Andorra. However, in more than three months which followed his appointment failed to commence the Embassy’s work despite receiving all the appropriate documents and two flags of Lostisland. Mr. Mushtaq has furthermore demonstrated questionable behavior including disrespect and ad hominem attacks towards other members of the Diplomatic Corps and the Federal Government, which rendered impossible the continuation of his diplomatic service.
Due to the possibility of his associates willing to take another position of power and difficulty of unleashing said association, the President has for the time being banned the granting of Lostislandic citizenship to all Pakistani residents, whether citizens or permanent residents of the country.
Mr. Mushtaq, also known as Salman Mirza was given two weeks to voluntarily return the flags of Lostisland and the documents he obtained for the purpose of his service, and should he fail to do so within the provided timeframe the matter will be handed over to the Punjab Police and other measures taken to ensure the return of the Lostislandic property.
