Front Side
The front side of the Lostislandic ID Card contains vital information about its holder. It includes details such as the type of card (R – regular, D – diplomatic), personal particulars like surname, given name, sex, and date of birth. You’ll also find the cardholder’s nationality (LST for Lostislandic citizens), personal identification number, and date of expiry. This card is further fortified with a hologram featuring the card number, calculated using the Luhn algorithm, and the holder’s signature.
Reverse Side
The reverse side of the Lostislandic ID Card provides additional identification details. It includes the holder’s place of birth, date of birth, and the MRZ (Machine Readable Zone), which facilitates quick and precise data retrieval for verification purposes.
