Citizenship in the Federal Republic of Lostisland is a unique and meaningful way to become part of a global community that values individual sovereignty, freedom, and democracy. Lostislandians come from all walks of life and corners of the world, united by the belief that nationality is a matter of personal choice and self-identification.

Becoming a Lostislandian

Before applying for citizenship, we encourage all prospective citizens to explore the foundations of Lostisland. Familiarize yourself with our 10 Principles to gain insight into the values that shape Lostisland’s identity and governance.

Citizenship Requirements and Limitations

Before you proceed with your application, please be aware of the following requirements and limitations:

  • Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
  • Understanding Lostisland’s Status: Lostisland is a global sovereignty and not a sovereign nation-state. Physical relocation, visits, seeking asylum, or starting a business in Lostisland are not feasible.
  • Sincere Interest: Applicants should exhibit a sincere interest in participating in Lostislandic activities and not apply simply because they were prompted by a friend or an acquaintance.
  • Contribution: Prospective citizens should have a well-defined plan for engaging in Lostislandic activities and providing tangible benefits to our existing citizenry.
  • No Dual Citizenship: Lostislandic citizenship is not available to new applicants who are citizens of Afghanistan and Pakistan.
  • Citizenship Status: Lostislandic citizenship is voluntary and does not replace your citizenship in any UN member state.
  • No Travel Documents: Lostisland does not issue passports or travel documents.
  • Alignment with Values: Lostisland is a global sovereignty, and citizenship is a recognition of your alignment with our values and principles.
  • Processing Time: Citizenship applications may take time to process. Your patience is appreciated.

Once you have familiarized yourself with Lostisland’s history, principles, and identity and you meet the above requirements, you’re ready to begin your journey toward citizenship. Please fill out the Citizenship Application Form below, providing accurate and honest information. After your application is submitted, it will be reviewed by Lostisland’s authorities.

After submitting your application for Lostislandic citizenship, you’ll be contacted by one of our dedicated officers within 30 business days (though typically sooner) to keep you updated on your application’s status. Upon approval, you’ll receive an electronic copy of your Citizenship Certificate. This is your invitation to join a global community dedicated to freedom, democracy, and creating a more inclusive world. If you wish, you can then choose to purchase a physical certificate and a plastic identity card, or both, as tangible symbols of your Lostislandic citizenship.
