We are pleased to introduce you to Swan Aung, the esteemed Ambassador of Lostisland to Myanmar. Swan Aung is a multifaceted individual with a diverse range of talents and experiences that he brings to his diplomatic role.
Born in Yangon, Myanmar, in 1986, Swan Aung’s journey has taken him to various corners of the world. He pursued his education in the United Kingdom and graduated from Temasek Polytechnic in Singapore in 2009. His passion for literature, which ignited during his childhood, led him to explore the world of writing and literary criticism.
Swan Aung’s academic pursuits continued as he became a part-time lecturer and enrolled in part-time courses at Charles Sturt University, where he pursued a Master’s Degree. His commitment to learning and growth has been a driving force throughout his life.
In addition to his literary interests, Swan Aung is a skilled engineer and co-founder of a mobile applications development firm, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit. His entrepreneurial journey took him to the United Kingdom in 2016, where he established his own business. Furthermore, he became a shareholder in a real estate company located in Fitzrovia, Central London, in 2018.
Swan Aung’s dedication to self-improvement is evident in his studies at the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and his affiliation with the United Nations Public Administration Network (UNPAN). These experiences have broadened his understanding of global affairs and diplomacy.
Currently, Swan Aung works as a software engineer for Vodafone Group PLC, where he continues to excel in his field.
