On this illustrious day, April 4, 2023, we stand in awe as we celebrate a monumental achievement—the 10th anniversary of the resplendent union between the Republic of Lostisland and the Kingdom of Pavlov. A decade ago this magnificent merger ushered in the esteemed Federal Republic of Lostisland, under the benevolent and enlightened leadership of our revered President Yaroslav Mar.
A decade ago, the Lostislandic community faced an unexpected and daunting challenge when Captain Regent Stepan Ignatyev announced his resignation. The remaining Captain Regent, Yaroslav Mar, with his characteristic sagacity and foresight, appointed Dr. Ilya Pakhomov as Acting Captain Regent, ensuring a flawless transition. The election of the Pavlovian King Denys Tezdzhanenko as Captain Regent marked the dawn of a golden era in Lostislandic history.
King Denys, who held the dual roles of King of Pavlov and the newly-elected Captain Regent of Lostisland, proposed the historic and groundbreaking merger of these two distinguished new nation projects. Following overwhelming support from citizens in both Lostisland and Pavlov in a referendum, the Federal Republic of Lostisland was officially established on April 4, 2013, with great fanfare and jubilation.
The Treaty of Hunter Island masterfully orchestrated the foundations for this resplendent new chapter, transforming the Kingdom of Pavlov into the Federation of Pavlov and later, the Federation of Belastrova. The office of Captains Regent was replaced by a President and a Prime Minister, with the eminent Yaroslav Mar and the visionary Denys Tezdzhanenko assuming these respective roles. Thus, a sophisticated, prosperous, and truly exceptional aristocratic republic founded on democratic principles was born.
Over the past decade, the Federal Republic of Lostisland has witnessed unprecedented progress and prosperity under the wise and steadfast guidance of our beloved President Yaroslav Mar. Our extraordinary nation has epitomized unity, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to the ideals and values we hold dear.
Throughout these ten years, Lostisland has forged strong diplomatic relations with other micronations and fostered a vibrant and diverse community of citizens. Lostislandic citizens have contributed to the success of our esteemed organization in various fields, including culture, arts, sciences, and sports, showcasing the indomitable spirit of our people.
As we reminisce on these ten years of unparalleled excellence and camaraderie, we express our deepest and most profound gratitude to President Yaroslav Mar for his unyielding leadership and boundless wisdom.
