LOSTISLAND, 12 June – President Yaroslav Mar has passed today the Declaration of the Lostislandic sovereignty over ghost ships.
According to Wikipedia, a ghost ship, also known as a phantom ship, is a ship with no living crew aboard, or a ghostly vessel. The Declaration, signed by the Life President and coming into force effective immediately, particularly asserts the Lostislandic sovereignty over all of such ships, providing for them to make part of the Lostislandic Phantom Navy, of which the Life President is to be made the Admiral. The document also declares the ghost ship going by the name of Flying Dutchman as the flagship of the Lostislandic Phantom Navy.
The text of the Declaration appears below as following:
WHEREAS a number of ships abandoned by their crew, or whose existence cannot be documented, better known as ghost ships, is known to be drifting in the World Ocean; and
WHEREAS such ships, being, for one or another reason, abandoned and/or written off the ship registries, are no longer considered anyone’s property, being of derelict nature;
BE IT HENCEFORTH ENACTED and LET IT BE KNOWN:
1) that on this day, 12 June 2015, the Federal Republic of Lostisland, for now and forever, declared her sovereignty over all of the ghost ships in the World Ocean, and that such ships, now and in the future, until the end of times, shall remain the unalienable property of the Federal Republic of Lostisland;
2) that those ships are to make part of the Lostislandic Phantom Navy;
3) that the Life President Yaroslav Mar shall be the Supreme Commander of the Lostislandic Phantom Navy, and is to receive the rank of an Admiral of the Phantom Navy;
4) that the ghost ship going by the name of Flying Dutchman shall be declared the flagship of the Lostislandic Phantom Navy.
