Today, we announce the excommunication of Soumyadip Sengupta, a 19-year-old from Kolkata, who has been identified as a supporter of Vladimir Putin. Lostislandic citizens are strictly prohibited from demonstrating any pro-Russian or pro-Putin sentiment. President for Life Yaroslav Mar personally expressed his disdain for anyone endorsing the Russian aggression and has stated that the violation of these rules may lead to the revocation of Lostislandic citizenship.
Sengupta was given 12 hours to produce a video in which he was to express remorse for his pro-Russian stance and condemn Vladimir Putin and the Russian invasion of Ukraine. However, not only did he refuse to create the video, he further escalated the situation by praising the terrorist Wagner Group organization and calling Vladimir Putin a hero. He also reiterated the false claim that Ukraine is a Nazi state.
The excommunication of Soumyadip Sengupta from Lostisland serves as a reminder of the importance of adhering to the nation’s core values and principles. Lostisland will continue to act in the best interests of its citizens and maintain their security and well-being by enforcing its laws and regulations.
As a result of his actions, Sengupta’s Lostislandic citizenship has been revoked with no right to appeal, an article has been published detailing reasons for his excommunication, and his citizenship file has been passed over to the Security Service of Ukraine for further action. The Federal Republic of Lostisland remains committed to protecting its citizens and upholding its laws and principles.
