The Green Circle Foundation (GCF) is a nonprofit organization based in Kenya, dedicated to implementing hands-on community-driven projects aimed at greening the African continent. GCF primarily involves women and youth in environmental conservation, community mobilization for climate change adaptation, and mitigation.
The MoU establishes a formal framework for cooperation between Lostisland and the Green Circle Foundation on climate action initiatives.
According to the terms of the MoU, effective as of October 26, 2023, Lostisland will support select GCF events by broadcasting them through third-party partners. Lostisland will also provide technical support and human capital for GCF’s research projects.
Conversely, the Green Circle Foundation will promote Lostisland to its members and partners, support Lostisland’s efforts in developing and implementing climate change policies and programs, and assist Lostisland in garnering public support for its climate action initiatives.
The MoU also addresses aspects related to intellectual property rights, confidentiality, dispute resolution, as well as terms and termination.
