The Life President signed a Decree establishing the Lostislandic Embassy in India and appointing Onkar Singh as Ambassador to the Republic of India.
H.E. Onkar Singh, 14, is the youngest person ever appointed to an official position in Lostisland. Regarded world’s youngest theoretical author and web developer, Onkar Singh made national headlines after building a COVID-19 tracker for the Indian city of Jammu. He started building websites at the age of seven and wrote a book on theoretical physics when he was 12. In January 2020 he was awarded Bal Shakti Puraskar (National Child Award) by the President of India Ram Nath Kovind, and in April 2020 a honorary doctorate in international diplomacy and human rights by the Institute for the Roma Studies of Europe.
Onkar is an IYMC Ambassador and the Indian Young Ambassador of the World Humanity Commission – a longtime diplomatic partner of Lostisland. While usually, Lostisland doesn’t appoint officers below 18, an exception was made in light of Onkar’s extraordinary achievements in the fields of science and human rights.
The Ambassador of Lostisland is the highest official representing Lostisland in a particular country, responsible for speaking on behalf of the Lostislandic Government, coordinating the activities of resident Lostislandic citizens, and establishing a dialogue with local authorities and organizations. As of now, fourteen Lostislandic Ambassadors have been appointed. Dedicated citizens who live in a country without official Lostislandic representation and who believe they have the necessary skills and connections are invited to contact the Lostislandic Government and submit their candidacies for becoming the Ambassadors of Lostisland.
