Government Issues COVID-19 Guidelines

Federal Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Denys Tezdzhanenko has announced the following guidelines amid the COVID-19 pandemic:

1. 1. Maximum control of the virus
      We request people to follow the hygiene rules, avoid public venues, and maintain physical distance (1.8 meters or more) from each other. As such most people will experience only minor symptoms and recover from the virus without medical assistance.
   2. As such we request the following:
      1. Stop shaking hands, and;
      2. Maintain physical distance from people who are not in your household:
         1. 1.8 meters or more if you are walking
         2. 6 meters or more if you are cycling
         3. 12 meters or more if you are using a motorcycle
      3. Wash your hands frequently for at least 20 seconds and on all places of your hand (including under your nails and between your fingers), and;
      4. The usage of facemasks is discouraged because most people do not know how to correctly remove a possibly contaminated mask. It is however advised and requested that our citizens follow the advice of the Government of their country of residence, and
      5. Stay at home as much as possible, It is however advised and requested that our citizens follow the advice of the Government of their country of residence, and;
      6. If you have any of the following symptoms stay at home for 14 days after the symptoms end:
         1. Nasal cold
         2. Runny nose
         3. Sneezing
         4. Sore throat
         5. Light cough
         6. Slight temperature (up to 38 degrees Celsius)
      7. If you have the symptoms prescribed in Article 2 Paragraph 6, and a temperature of over 38 degrees celsius, you and your entire household must stay at home for 14 days after the symptoms end, and;
      8. Don’t travel to other cities, provinces, and or countries unless it is absolutely necessary.
   3. If you feel unwell and experience problems with breathing contact your local GP as soon as possible but do not go out of your house to visit your GP without his approval.

The guidelines were released following the dismissal of the Minister of Health Dr. Andrej Golubew MD according to the nomination by the Federal Prime Minister.
