President Yaroslav Mar released a statement condemning in the strongest form Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.
In his statement, President Mar called the invasion “the greatest threat to European security since WWII and violation of all Russia’s international commitments” and expressed hope for the Ukrainian Armed Forces to “decimate” the invaders. The President also announced a zero-tolerance policy towards Putin supporters within Lostisland who will have their Lostislandic citizenship withdrawn.
President Mar called Vladimir Putin “an enemy not just of Ukraine, but the entire human civilization” negotiating with whom is “as useful as trying to conduct diplomacy with Y. pestis or E. coli.” and who ought to be treated “not as a head of state, but as a war criminal and a terrorist no different from bin Laden or al-Baghdadi.” The President called upon the international community to “do what it takes to bring Putin and his regime to a bitter end.”
